The Rogue Ethos 170"

The Ethos 170 provides the whole package, for those that want to explore farther, go deeper and find home everywhere they go. Built with the same seats and sleeps 4 capability as the 144, the Ethos 170 completes the picture with a refined permanent shower, innovative toilet storage and premium interior styling that makes the Ethos series perfect for any use case.

The Ethos 170 is built to go farther and stay longer. The extra length opens up real living space, a full 30" enclosed shower with copper backsplash, an integrated Empava induction cooktop, and a larger Isotherm CR 130 galley, without giving up the everyday drivability that defines the Ethos platform. Load it with bikes, gear, and a full week of supplies for four, then settle into a cabin that feels composed whether you're parked in a city or set up off-grid for days.

Beneath the refinement, the 170 carries forward every piece of capability that defines an Ethos build. VanCompass Stage 5 suspension, 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on Reika wheels, an ARB 12k synthetic winch, and a full Baja Designs lighting package mean the longer wheelbase doesn't compromise where it can go. Inside, ultra-lightweight powder-coated aluminum cabinetry keeps weight in check while black walnut faces and dimensional walnut counters bring warmth to every surface you touch. Refined where it matters. Capable where it counts.

Energy System

Ethos is powered by a Victron 10 kWh energy system, delivering reliable, quiet power for daily use and extended off-grid travel. Designed as a fully integrated power solution, the system supports high-demand appliances, air conditioning, lighting, refrigeration, and everyday electronics without the complexity of traditional van electrical setups. Power management is handled through an intuitive touchscreen interface, making it easy to monitor usage, charging, and system status at a glance.

Multiple charging sources keep the system topped off wherever you are. Rooftop solar provides continuous passive charging while parked, DC-to-DC charging replenishes the batteries while driving, and shore power allows for fast, convenient charging when plugged in. Internal thermal protection, smart power distribution, and built-in safeguards ensure dependable performance in a wide range of conditions. The result is an energy system that feels seamless in daily life, powerful enough for serious travel, and simple to live with whether you’re running errands, working remotely, or camped far from the grid.

HVAC

Ethos is engineered for year-round comfort in a wide range of climates. A Timeberline diesel system provides reliable hot air heat and on-demand hot water from a single, efficient unit, delivering consistent warmth in cold conditions without relying on shore power. For warm weather travel, a Houghton 13,500 BTU rooftop 48V direct air conditioner offers powerful, quiet cooling that runs efficiently from the onboard energy system.

Natural ventilation is equally well considered. Two forward-position windows combined with opening pill windows integrated into the rear flares allow fresh air to flow easily through the cabin. A rooftop MaxxAir fan with automatic modes and remote control actively manages airflow, pulling heat out or drawing cool air in as needed. Together, these systems create a balanced interior environment that adapts seamlessly to changing conditions, keeping Ethos comfortable whether you’re parked, driving, or deep off the grid.

Modular Seating

4 extra seats for passengers can be added or removed as needed.  When you are transporting a larger group all occupants can sit with seatbelts.  When you have no passengers the expansive layout allows you to accommodate and adjust to your gear.

Murphy Bed

The sleeping area is a murphy bed drop down which converts to a workspace when you need it and a comfortable bed.  This is a great solution for storage and functionality all built into one.

Storage Solutions

Throughout the interior is a highly elevated storage solution that can be adapted to accommodate all your needs.

Where can I get my Rogue Van serviced?

Vans at some point will absolutely need to be serviced. The good news is your vehicle will be RVIA-certified, and backed by Mercedes Benz.  This means you can stop at any Mercedes Benz in the country to service your van. And for any other needs, of course feel free to stop back in our location anytime!

Can a Rogue Van be customized to my needs or use case?

Absolutely. Every Rogue Van is built to adapt to your lifestyle, travel goals, and budget — from off-grid overlanding rigs to adventure-ready daily drivers. Each van features a triple-source charging system to keep you powered anywhere, including alternator charging while driving, roof-mounted solar panels for energy independence while parked, and shore power for convenient charging at home or while storing the vehicle.

If connectivity is important, Starlink integration can be easily added for reliable internet access wherever you roam. For comfort in all seasons, every van includes a full Aqua-Hot 125D hydronic heating system, with radiant floor heating available on request. Fresh and gray tanks are temperature-protected with automatic pad heaters and insulated lines, ensuring nothing freezes even in extreme conditions.

Because adventure doesn’t stop where the pavement ends, we also offer a wide range of exterior overlanding upgrades, from roof racks and lighting to suspension and tire packages, allowing you to outfit your van exactly as you want it. Whether you’re after a custom floorplan, specific materials, or unique performance features, our team will work one-on-one with you to design a Rogue Van that fits your needs, lifestyle, and budget perfectly.

How long does it take for a Rogue Van to be delivered?

Every Rogue Van is hand-built to order, and delivery timelines can vary depending on our current production bandwidth and the level of customization in your build. On average, customers can expect an estimated lead time of around nine months from the time the final design and deposit are confirmed.

Because each van is crafted with attention to detail  from electrical and plumbing systems to finishes and overlanding accessories the build process is both thorough and personalized. Our team will provide regular updates throughout production and keep you informed on progress, so you know exactly where your van stands and when to expect delivery.
