Design & Philosophy

Chilewich Design

Material selection became an art form in itself. Chilewich woven marine wall coverings, typically reserved for high end hospitality environments, wrap the cabin in quiet texture and warmth, evoking the calm and refinement of a suite rather than a conventional adventure rig. 

Corian Surfaces

Corian shower pans and countertops introduce a sense of architectural permanence and understated luxury, blending residential sophistication with marine grade resilience. These materials, paired with pressed aluminum radiant subfloors, soft touch finishes, and adaptive ambient lighting that responds to time of day and activity, create a space that feels deliberate, intelligent, and human.

Control Suite

At the heart of the build, the intelligent control suite gives users complete authority without complexity. With a touch of a screen, systems calibrate themselves for driving, resting, or off grid living modes. It is not merely automation, it is intuition expressed through design. The adaptive systems learn from repeated use, simplifying life on the road until the experience feels effortless.

Energy System

At its core, a 48-volt Expion360 twelve-kilowatt-hour self-heating power bank delivers robust, sustainable energy storage capable of running climate control, cooking systems, and adaptive lighting for days without shore power. A fully integrated Garmin and Victron smart suite orchestrates all major electrical and mechanical functions, providing real-time feedback through either a handheld tablet or mounted display. From battery monitoring to climate zoning, the entire system was designed to translate complexity into simplicity, intuitive, responsive, and effortless to operate.

Adding another layer of innovation, Rogue equipped the Earth Roller with the Arco Zeus alternator, capable of delivering more than six thousand watts of active charging capacity. Specialty programming allows the system to work harmoniously with the native battery architecture, optimizing charging efficiency, thermal balance, and long-term battery health across every power cycle. Whether idling at camp or traveling through remote terrain, the Zeus alternator converts motion into dependable off-grid power, reducing range anxiety and dramatically extending true energy independence.

To further enhance off-grid capability, Rogue integrated more than one thousand watts of walkable solar panels directly into the roof structure, allowing for renewable energy capture even when the vehicle is fully loaded with gear and equipment.

Controls and HVAC

The Rixen dual-stage diesel hydronic system provides both radiant in-floor heating and continuous hot water, maintaining residential-level comfort in both sub-zero and desert conditions. Every layer of the subfloor, wall paneling, and cabinetry system was engineered to minimize vibration, reduce noise, and improve thermal efficiency, creating an environment that feels calm, insulated, and intentional even miles from pavement.

Climate control is further enhanced by the Cruise N Comfort 48-volt rooftop air conditioning system, delivering a powerful 13,500 BTU output directly into the cabin. Mounted centrally within the ceiling, the system distributes airflow evenly throughout the interior, providing balanced cooling performance without harsh drafts or uneven temperature zones.

All HVAC, water management, and lighting functions throughout the vehicle are controlled through an integrated Garmin smart control system, accessible via a low-mounted touchscreen in the kitchen area as well as a removable mobile tablet secured to a magnetic charging dock within the bed area. The interface allows the vehicle’s primary systems to be controlled with a simple touch, creating an experience that feels intuitive and seamless rather than technical or overwhelming. For additional convenience, the removable tablet can also be transferred to the cockpit and mounted via a RAM mount, allowing critical system monitoring and control while traveling.

One of the most distinctive features of the Earth Roller is its integrated outdoor grilling system. A marine-grade stainless steel grill deploys from the rear passenger-side underbody storage compartment on heavy-duty dual stainless slides, creating a seamless outdoor cooking experience that feels fully integrated into the vehicle rather than added on as an accessory.

Media Center

Designed as a true rest and relaxation space within the vehicle, the bed zone features a 42-inch OLED Samsung television paired with an intuitive integrated tech nook that neatly houses an Xbox console, controllers, charging stations, and personal electronics in one organized and easily accessible location. The result is a comfortable entertainment environment that feels immersive, refined, and intentionally designed for extended travel and downtime.

Audio

The Earth Roller features a premium Garmin-based audio system fully integrated with both the mobile tablet and fixed cabin display for seamless control throughout the vehicle. Four interior 4-inch Audiofrog speakers fill the cabin with rich, balanced sound, while two waterproof 6-inch Garmin exterior speakers on an independent audio zone bring the experience outdoors for campsite entertainment and social gatherings.

Completing the system is a powerful 10-inch JBL subwoofer mounted beneath the bed platform, adding deep low-frequency response and immersive sound throughout the cabin. For audiophiles and anyone who appreciates high-quality audio, the system delivers an engaging listening experience with impressive clarity, depth, and acoustic balance.

Vans at some point will absolutely need to be serviced. The good news is your vehicle will be RVIA-certified, and backed by Mercedes Benz.  This means you can stop at any Mercedes Benz in the country to service your van. Can a Rogue Van be customized to my needs or use case?

Absolutely. Every Rogue Van is built to adapt to your lifestyle, travel goals, and budget — from off-grid overlanding rigs to adventure-ready daily drivers. Each van features a triple-source charging system to keep you powered anywhere, including alternator charging while driving, roof-mounted solar panels for energy independence while parked, and shore power for convenient charging at home or while storing the vehicle.

 

If connectivity is important, Starlink integration can be easily added for reliable internet access wherever you roam. For comfort in all seasons, every van includes a full Aqua-Hot 125D hydronic heating system, with radiant floor heating available on request. Fresh and gray tanks are temperature-protected with automatic pad heaters and insulated lines, ensuring nothing freezes even in extreme conditions.

 

Because adventure doesn’t stop where the pavement ends, we also offer a wide range of exterior overlanding upgrades, from roof racks and lighting to suspension and tire packages, allowing you to outfit your van exactly as you want it. How long does it take for a Rogue Van to be delivered?

Every Rogue Van is hand-built to order, and delivery timelines can vary depending on our current production bandwidth and the level of customization in your build. On average, customers can expect an estimated lead time of around nine months from the time the final design and deposit are confirmed.

 

Because each van is crafted with attention to detail  from electrical and plumbing systems to finishes and overlanding accessories the build process is both thorough and personalized. Our team will provide regular updates throughout production and keep you informed on progress, so you know exactly where your van stands and when to expect delivery.
